This page describes how Nonveg Sagar collects, uses, shares, and protects data on our website and Android app (including updates). For our full policy, see the Privacy Policy.

*“Shared” means with vetted service providers acting on our behalf (payments, delivery, messaging, hosting, analytics). We do not sell data.
Android app permissions (what we use & why)
- Approximate location (optional) — check serviceability & slot availability.
- Notifications — order updates, delivery alerts, offers.
- Camera/Photos (optional) — profile photo (if you upload).
- Network access — communicate with our servers.
Who we share data with
We share minimum necessary data with:
- Payment processors (e.g., Razorpay/Paytm/Stripe) to complete payments and refunds.
- Delivery partners to deliver your order (name, phone, address, items).
- Cloud/hosting & backups to securely run our services.
- Analytics/Crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics) to improve reliability.
- Communication services (SMS/email/push) for order and account messages.
We have agreements in place to restrict use exclusively to providing these services.
Security
- Transport security via HTTPS/TLS.
- Access controls & least-privilege for staff.
- Payment details processed by PCI-DSS compliant gateways; we don’t store full card data.
Retention
- Account & order data retained while your account is active and as required by law.
- Crash/diagnostics retained for a limited period to troubleshoot issues.
- Optional uploads (e.g., profile photos) retained until you delete them.
Your choices & rights
- Access/Update: Edit your profile details in the app or on the website.
- Export: Email us to receive a copy of your data.
- Deletion: Use the “Delete Account” option (if available) or email us to request deletion. We’ll delete non-exempt data and confirm.
- Opt-outs: You can disable marketing notifications at any time.
How to request deletion/export: Email hello@nonvegsagar.com from your registered email with subject “Data Request – Nonveg Sagar”, and specify Export or Delete. We’ll verify and respond promptly.
Children
Our service is not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.

Developer notes for Play Console review
Data collection: Personal info, address/location (approx), financial tokens/refs, app activity, device IDs (FCM token), diagnostics, optional profile photo.
Data sharing: Payment gateway, delivery partner, hosting, messaging, analytics/crash SDKs. Not sold.
Purposes: App functionality, account management, payments & refunds, delivery, customer support, security/fraud prevention, analytics & performance, developer communications, marketing (opt-out).
Security: HTTPS/TLS; card details handled by payment processor; access controls.
Deletion: In-app (if implemented) or email request; confirm deletion of non-exempt data.
