Do you deliver in my area?
We presently deliver throughout the Nadia district, specifically covering the Krishnanagar urban and surrounding areas. Our delivery zone is defined by the following pin codes: 741101 (Krishnanagar head office and adjacent areas such as Golapati, Kathuriapara, Krishnanagar Court, etc.), 741102 (Saktinagar region including Bhatjangla, Dogachhi, Jalalkhali, Jhitkipota, Joypur, etc.), and 741103 (Ghurni–Nadia Bishnupur region including Bhanderkhola, Goaldaha, Radhanagar, Putimari, Char Sambhu Nagar, Taranipur, etc.).
- 741101 — Krishnanagar area; head post office at Krishnanagar delivers within this zone, with adjacent sub-offices.
- 741102 — Saktinagar and its surrounding localities; includes several branch offices under the Krishnanagar head office.
- 741103 — Ghurni/Nadia Bishnupur region and neighboring villages such as Bhanderkhola, Goaldaha, and others.

What is the delivery charge?
Orders with a value of less than Rs. 50 will have a delivery charge of Rs. 30.
Orders between Rs. 50 and 100 will have Rs. 15 as delivery charge.
Orders above Rs. 100 are delivered free of charge.
Is your fish fresh?
Live fish – These fish we buy live, cut and deliver on the same day. These are the freshest. If for any reason we have to store these fish even for one day, we do not sell it under the live fish category.
Local fish – These are mostly smaller-sized fish procured from local farmers or rivers of South Bengal. Most have very short shelf life. Normally the fish is sold and distributed within 12 to 26 hours after catching.
Outsider fish – Includes some large and some small fishes. These come to the Krishnanagar market from South Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and even Assam. These may reach your home 2 to 7 days after they are caught.
RTF – Processed and frozen fish that can be stored for months.
How fresh is the meat?
The mutton is not stored at Nonveg Sagar and we deliver it the same day. However, we often chill/freeze the mutton before delivery as the hot and humid weather in Krishnanagar can lead to rotting within a short period of time.
The fresh chicken is also delivered on the same day.
Why are some fresh products cold?
The raw fish and meat we procure reach our processing facility in the morning and may be delivered hours later. This time gap can cause decomposition, especially in a hot and humid place like Krishnanagar. So we store fish and meat at low temperature immediately after procurement and bring it out only at the time of delivery. Even freshly cut items may feel cold—this helps maintain quality.

We only take a limited number of orders for each time slot. Sometimes due to higher demand, your preferred time slot may be fully booked in advance. We suggest selecting the next available slot.
